There is a huge spider in my room. It's body alone has got to be 1/3" in diameter.

I trapped it under a cup and I would be content to leave it there but it's in a bad place. I'll probably knock it over in the middle of the night when I try to get to the bathroom. How scary would that be?!??! It would scurry all over and I'm totally blind without contacts or glasses!

I really don't wanna move the cup. I hate spiders!

I'll start out by saying that I have a really bad cold. I think I know who's at fault. Well, to clarify, I think I know who stressed me out enough that I actually got sick. As far as who physically gave me the cold, I have no ideas.

I got my hair cut the other day and my head feels 10 pounds lighter. People with thin hair should never complain in front of me again. They have NO idea. lol.

I literally have 12 people I was supposed to call within the past week.... and I haven't called any of them. I have pretty much spent every free moment shopping. I am quite tired and I'm sure it hasn't helped my cold at all. Luckily my shopping is over.

My family is going to Nathan's parent's/parents' house for dinner. I'll be honest, I never know if I should treat parents as a single entity or what so forgive my spelling. So yes, we'll be there.... and I'm not looking forward to it but whatever. I'd love to go into detail but... considering how it was last year, I'll spare everyone this year.

Apparently Nathan's mother told my mother that we're to bring scalloped potatoes. I'm sure that, when my mother asked if there was anything we could bring, she didn't mean major side dish. I'm irritated because I don't feel well and I really don't feel like cooking today. I'd have my mom do it but she's gonna be out shopping till around 4. No matter- I'll do it and it will be fabulous and then I'll be wondering why I made such a fuss.

I am looking forward to giving his family all the presents I bought. I should win an award for my creativity or something. I'm probably unjustifiably proud of myself but what can I say?

I'm super psyched about Christmas day. Nathan's mother has managed to grow up enough to actually share him this year. It's amazing, truly. That said, we're having other family over for dinner. I think there's gonna be 9 of us- which isn't a bad number. We're having lamb!! I"m so happy. We were gonna have prime rib but the one in the freezer probably won't feed 9 people. I'm okay with this because I love lamb and I know that everyone who's coming likes it, too. How pleasant.

I am literally drinking coffee at 12 in the morning because it's going to take all night to finish this report and get my presentation ready for my class tomorrow.

Whatever part of my brain decided to take an accelerated Saturday course is gonna be cut out!

Wow... I am so tired that I actually typed excelerated and couldn't figure out why the computer said it was wrong. That is really sad.

I can only blame myself, really. There were all these people who wanted to hang out over Thanksgiving break (namely Nathan's family) and I just couldn't say no! I had to spend all of my time being social instead of getting my shit done!

This is a level of procrastination I haven't achieved since high school. *sigh* Now I remember why I decided not to be a douche in college- because it sucks!!!!!

Facebook Update:
Chris convinced me to sorta put my real name up and add a pic. So I fucked around with photo booth and came up with 65 really weird pics. I picked the most normal looking one. That way, anyone who's looking should be able to tell it's me.

This kind of stuff really werids me out. I guess a lot of people do it but I'm not a lot of people.

On a different note, I kinda got a new computer yesterday. My father and his business partner, Bruce, are leasing the newer intel iMac's until August. Bruce ended up not using his so my father just had is sitting on the floor of his office. I managed to convince him to give it to me! Which is totally awesome cos it's way better than mine. I'm keeping mine but I'm gonna use Bruce's for big computer games cos my processor has a hard time with some of the stuff I like to play. That, and I can use the new one for video chat cos it has a built-in camera. So yes, there's a fairly new, $2500 machine sitting on my desk right now. I'll have to take a pic of the two computers together. Bruce's computer dwarfs mine!

So back in June I set-up a Facebook account. By set-up I mean I put a name in (not my real name) and a birthday and an email addy... and that's it. I did this because all these people around me asked if I would so I did. Of course, I didn't tell any of them about it. lol.

After much peer pressure and begging, I finally finished setting it up today. I like LJ way better. I feel like I'm the only Facebook person who isn't using their real name or a pic of themselves. I chose a pic of a white peacock cos it's pretty.

I think it's kinda creepy to put my name and pictures all over the internet. Maybe if anyone around me had a name as unique as mine they would understand. I also don't have any pictures of me after I turned 18 so that's why I chose the white peacock.

I feel like I'm giving into some really retarded high school fad... *sigh*

It did NOT need to snow today.

BTW, playing a little FF7 on Chris's ps3 last night made life more meaningful :D
